My abstract painting currently explores the juxtaposition of contrasting materials as a discourse on my daily observations living in a rapidly changing country. Layered metal leaf alongside colorful flowing acrylic paint evokes Luxembourg's shifting landscape as I watch it shed its agricultural and manufacturing past to make way for finance, technology, and an increasingly international population.
