Often while working on magazines and reports I have had to design within tight parameters of existing branding styles, and sometimes I have to combine branding styles of two different organizations who are collaborating on the project. I find this can require the most creativity and I find it incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy analyzing the content and helping the authors communicate it more effectively, using layout, informational graphics, and sometimes assisting with copy editing. The projects are highly collaborative and very enjoyable to work on.
Who doesn't judge a book by its cover? Among my favorite work, I love helping authors make a great first impression with an impactful, beautiful cover that appeals to potential readers.

My packaging clients have been makers of artisanal foods. In order to convey the characteristics of hand made, high quality, and natural ingredients my designs utilize earthy color palettes and hand drawings.
Adding a dynamic dimension to design, branding videos can take corporate storytelling to the next level. The following examples were created for Maine Cottage, a high-end furniture company, to launch a new collection of colors and fabrics that I specified and designed.
From fundraisers to weddings, event announcements tend to be more playful. Hand illustrations and color palettes communicate not just the theme, but also the tone of the event.
